Featuring music from each major ethnic group that settled in the Pass, along with a brand new symphonic sketch by Tynan Groves called "The Sartoris." We'll have the choir and soloists, with a slideshow and cake at intermission, along with a silent auction. Not to be missed!

The Sartoris
Commissioned for the 100th anniversary of the Crowsnest Pass Orchestra, The Sartoris takes its name and spirit from the rugged road that winds south into the heart of the Alberta wilderness. The composition serves as an auditory journey through a landscape defined by its untamed beauty. Within the score, listeners will find a tapestry of the wild—the rush of mountain water and the hidden rhythms of predator and prey—interwoven with the persistent, rhythmic clatter of the railway.
